The Liberty Rugby Conference
The Liberty Rugby Conference formed in the spring 2017 as the newest Division 1A collegiate league. The Liberty Rugby Conference will begin league play in the fall of 2017, but before the season even gets underway the league will field an All-Star team to participate in the inaugural Collegiate Rugby Cup [3] to be held in Bermuda before the Saracens v. The Liberty All-Stars
The entire league will be kicked off with an all star match in Bermuda coached by Jerry Mirro, head coach at Stony Brook, and David Chapman, Colgate head coach.
The new to the fall of 2017 Liberty Rugby Conference consists of teams from University of Delaware, Iona College, Fordham University, Rutgers University, Stony Brook University, The University at Albany, Syracuse University, Colgate University, Binghamton University, The College at Brockport, Rhode Island University, Tufts University, Fairfield University, Boston College, UMass, Northeastern University, and UConn.
